Nobody likes locked cell phones, so BlackBerry owners probably want to have their phones unlocked too. The Good news is that the MFI Multiloader will unlock your 8xxx or 9xxx BlackBerry device in 30 minutes and you won’t have to pay a penny. The steps to unlock the phone yourself aren’t that fun because you’ll need to download a whole 800MB worth of files, but if you’re trying to save a few dollars, then give it a try.
Why you should unlock your Blackberry?
1. You want to switch between local service providers
Whether its for a cheaper rate plan or a better network, you want to switch between local providers and still be able to use your current Blackberry.
2. You’re travelling to a different Country
Traveling outside your country for work or pleasure, and don’t want to have to pay the very expensive international rates your present wireless company would charge you, plus roaming fees while using your current Blackberry phone
3. You’re selling your Blackberry
The value of your Blackberry will be worth a lot more and be easier to sell because it is not restricted for use with only one wireless provider – anyone will be able to use it, allowing for a wider range of prospective buyers.

Nice
Does this work with the 9530 Storm.
Sorry to tell you, it doesn’t work for 8900 and 95xx
Have you actually tried it with the 8900? are you sure it wont work? What if you use a newer version of MFI, like version 2.0.1.3 instead of 1.8.1.3? Some places claim it will unlock the storm and the 8900. Thanks!
I’ve been at it for a few hours now, and no matter what I get an error. I am using a Blackberry Pearl 8100 Black, it won’t show PASS no matter what I do.
When i extract the rar files i continue to recieve an error message saying i do not have the correct volume im doing something wrong but have no ideal what it is
i see this was released in July…. just wondering if there is or any support for the 8350i, the curve on Nextel?
Can’t open the MFI Multiloader and I get this message:
“Retrieving the COM class factory component with CLSID {BA3D0120-E617-4F66-ADCA-585CC2FB86DB} failed due to the following error: 80040150″
Anyone know how to fix this?
