CameraMuteApp is another free blackberry application, it lets you add a button to the menu to mute the camera shutter sound until you turn it back on. CameraMuteApp works on GSM devices only so no CDMA devices work for some reason. For CDMA users, berrymanual.com provides you with the full version berryannoying and you can have it for free.
How to use CameraMuteApp:
Launch it via the icon -> press Menu -> Add MenuItem then go to camera app. When you want to mute the shutter sound, simply click Menu and select Mute. After you have taken the photos, click Menu and select Unmute to turn on the sound again. After each reboot you have to add the MenuItem to the Menu again.
