Create Your Own Barcode

As we know, the BlackBerry Messenger 5.0 has a new barcode feature, which allows you to add a BBM contact by scanning the barcode.  The great thing about this barcode scanner is; it can also scan a barcode which directs you to a blog or a social networking website such as Facebook. And we’ll let you know how to generate a barcode from a website of yours.

First, go to Kaywa QR-Code, the site provides you with a QR-Code Generator. Select the type of content you’d want to generate, it can be your URL, Text or Phone Number. i.e. enter you Facebook profile URL and hit on the ‘Generate!’ button and it will give you a barcode and a HTML code, you can save either one or both of them.
